The Project includes the following Work: Upgrades to two Trident Model TR-210A filters including 16 underdrains, blowers, filter media, and all hardware and appurtenances necessary to complete the work. Refer to Appendix A. The replacement of one raw water pump and one finished water pump with new horizontal, end suction, centrifugal pumps furnished by the Owner and installed by the contractor. The replacement of one raw water pump and one finished water pump with new horizontal, end suction, centrifugal pumps to be furnished and installed by the Contractor. Substantial and Final Completion is 180 and 210 days, respectively. The lead time for the Wes Tech Equipment is 24-26 weeks upon executed of a purchase order between the Contractor and Wes tech. The actual days of work on-site is anticipated to be up to 60 days with up to 20 additional days for commissioning and punch list completion. Bonds: A certified check or bank draft payable to the OWNER or a satisfactory Bid Bond (guarantee) executed by the Bidder and a Surety Company in the equal to five percent (5%) of the maximum Bid price shall be submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after receipt of bids unless released by the owner. Performance and Payment Bonds are required for 100% of the contract price. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Requirements: Each bidder shall take special notice of the Guidance for use of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in sub-agreements in the DWSRF Supplemental General Conditions. Failure to complete the requirements of this program may result in finding that the bidder is non-responsive and therefore, not eligible to the award of this contract. Complete requirements are detailed in the Bid Documents. Non-discrimination in Employment and Labor Standards: Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 and amendments and supplements to that Order. The requirements for Bidders and CONTRACTORS under this Order are located in the DWSRF Supplemental General Conditions. Federal Requirements: This project is subject to Davis-Bacon Wages and American Iron and Steel requirements Department of Labor Regulations: The Contractor must comply with the Department of Labor
