A new custom wet well and exterior valve vault are to be constructed to replace the existing original pump station pumps and wet well. Two (2) new submersible pumps operated using variable frequency drives are to be located in the new wet well. Rehabilitation of the existing pump station and '72 wet well is included as detailed in the contract documents. The Project has an overall completion duration of four-hundred and eighty (480) calendar days after the date established in the Notice to Proceed unless the period for completion is extended otherwise by the Contract Documents. Any contract or contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by a loan from the NH Clean Water State Revolving Fund and a grant from the American Rescue Plan Act from the NH Department of Environmental Services (ARPA). The successful Bidder on this work is required to comply with the Presidents Executive Order No. 11246 entitled Equal Employment Opportunity as amended by Executive Order 11375, and amendments or supplements thereto, and as supplemented in the Department of Labor Regulations (41 CFR Part 60). The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the Available Information for Bidders. Utilization of Minority and Womens Business Enterprises (MBEs and WBEs). The successful Bidder on this work must demonstrate compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's MBE/WBE rule in order to be deemed a responsible bidder. The requirements for bidders and contractors covered by this rule are explained in the Information for Bidders. The successful Bidder on this work is subject to U.S. Department of Labors Davis Bacon wage provisions. The successful bidder on this work is subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements of the CWSRF and DWSRF programs.
