Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools and equipment necessary to remove existing concrete and pour a new concrete foundation for an evidence container for the Evidence Control Unit at Troop F. Requirements: Contractor shall saw, cut, and remove approximately three hundred twenty (320) square feet of existing concrete. Contractor shall haul off and dispose debris. Contractor shall provide dumpster if necessary. Contractor shall remove enough grass and soil for installation of new twenty (20) feet by fifty (50) feet by six (6) inches in depth concrete slab. Grass and soil shall be piled up on site. Contractor shall install six (6) gauge wire mat throughout entire new slab area. Contractor shall pour new concrete. New slab shall be approximately twenty (20) feet by fifty (50) feet, and shall be six (6) inches in depth. Slab shall be poured to slope to drain. Back slab shall be poured to slope to drain. Contractor shall dial into existing concrete every thirty-two (32) inches. Concrete shall be broom finished. After concrete has dried, contractor shall break test slab at thirty-five hundred (3500) PSI, as the slab will need to be able to support the evidence container. For any bid submitted in the amount of $50,000 or more, a bid security (insurance company, bank money order, certified check, or cashier's check) must be included with the bidder's submission in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including base bid and additive alternates, if any) and shall become the property of the agency in the event the contract and bond are not executed within the time set forth in the bid solicitation. Failure to do so will remove the bid from consideration. Please refer to Attachment A: Special Terms and Conditions page four (4) for complete details of this requirement.
