The project is estimated less than $1 million dollars. The CONTRACT SCOPE for the project consists of: CIPP UV Cured Lining of approximately 3100' of Sanitary and Storm Sewers of varying materials sized 8" to 18" located within the City of Pierre. There will be no pre-bid meeting. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to be familiar with the site and the corresponding site preparations. Owner makes no claims as the condition of the site except as identified in the contract documents. If the bid is sent through the mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope shall be enclosed in a separate envelope with the notation "BID ENCLOSED - 2023 CIPP SEWER LINING PROJECT" on the face thereof. Bid modifications including withdrawal of bid can be made, after sealed bids have been mailed, per the Bid Manual, Bid Modification Form, Exhibit "A-1" if received prior to bids being due. All bids shall be made in accordance with forms referenced to and/or made part of the proposed contract documents. Full responsibility for the delivery of mailed bids prior to the deadline for receiving bids rests with the bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a contract performance bond and a payment bond in the penal amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as originally bid or subsequently modified.
