The Mason County Fiscal Court is requesting bids from qualified individuals or firms for roof repair/replacement of a section of the roof of the Mason County Detention Center located at 702 U.S. 68, Maysville, KY 41056. The bid shall include removal of the current roof and replacement with an appropriate flat roof. All bids shall be placed in a sealed envelope with the project name "Detention Center Roof Replacement 2023" and should be to the attention of Sherry Brady, Executive Assistant. Bidders' names and addresses should be clearly labeled as well. Conditional or qualified bids will not be accepted. Proof of liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 must be submitted with bid proposal. A performance bond is required. All bidders must comply with all Federal, State, City, and County Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. The Mason County Fiscal Court reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any bid which it deems advantageous. All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for sixty (60) days after the time set for opening bids. The contract award will be in the best interest of the County considering such factors as cost, quality, availability, and any other factors deemed necessary.
