A new 26,000 SF Operations Center will be constructed on a 7.179 acres vacant parcel at 1255 Tefft Court, Saline, MI. This project is being completed using the Design/Build delivery method. The Design/Build Contractor, AR Brouwer Company, will hold all of the subcontracts for the work and is under contract with the Saline Area Schools as the Design/Build contractor. All subcontractors will be required to comply with the Saline Area Schools requirements described herein, as well as AR Brouwer's contract terms and conditions. In compliance with MCL 380.1267, the bid shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the board, or the superintendent of the school district. The bid shall also be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing whether the bidder is an Iran Linked Business in compliance with PA 517 of 2012. The Board shall not accept a bid that does not include these sworn and notarized disclosure statements. The Board and AR Brouwer Co. reserves the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all bids, or accept any bid when in the opinion of the Board such action will best serve the District's interest.
