Scope of work: The intent of this renovation is to increase the dormitory sleeping areas of the Payne County Jail by converting 2 interior recreation rooms into sleeping dormitories. The first area is on the 2nd floor of the jail and the other is directly above, on the 4th floor. Both areas will incorporate mezzanine levels for additional space. Existing louvers and grating will be removed to accommodate new mezzanine levels and replaced with security windows or concrete infill. The bids submitted to the Payne County Clerks office shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Cashier's Check for Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the Payne County Jail. The following bonds will be required from the Successful Bidder: 1. Performance Bond in full amount of contract price; 2. Payment Bond for payment of all labor and materials used in the construction of such improvements in the full amount of the contract price; and 3. One (1) year Maintenance Bond in the full amount of the contract price. Bidder must supply all the information required by the bid form including completion of the Bidder's Certifications and Affidavits or the bid will be considered incomplete and therefore rejected
