Questions and clarifications maybe submitted to MeVa via email at procurement@mevatransit.com by Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Contractors must review this scope of work and submit proposals in accordance with the instructions in Section III.E below. Compliance with all materials, work, and specifications is required. MeVa expects each proposer to demonstrate their capability and expertise required to accomplish the work. The Scope of Work is to install transit bus shelters, associated benches, and solar lighting kits at the sizes and various locations in the list below. Some of these locations will require pouring of a concrete pad and other work associated with that. Some locations will require "fixing" the concrete, while others will require no concrete work at all other than drilling the bolt holes. Appendix B contains diagram schematics of the 3 different sizes of shelters with benches, as well as the solar lighting kits. Attachment 1 to this document contains the manufacturers' installation instructions for both the shelters and the solar kits Merrimack Valley Transit (Meva) is Seeking Qualified Contractors to Submit Proposals to Install 15 Bus Shelters, in Multiple Sizes and Multiple Locations, in Accordance With the Scope of Work in This RFP Document. Meva is Using 100% State Funds for This Project, and It Requires Prequalified Contractors From the Mass dot Highway List Classified for "Sidewalk and Curbing.
