November 8, 2023 Anticipated Notice to Proceed The Town of Lyons is requesting bids for the construction of a new salt storage building at their Public Works Facility. Construction will include building a new concrete foundation, foundation drain, concrete floor and erecting a steel arch roof structure on the new foundation. The Town has already procured the steel arch roof structure (with a back wall) and has it stored at its Public Works Facility. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, and to accept the Bid in whole, or portions of the Bid that, in the opinion of the Town Board, is in the best interest of the Town. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Insurance Required The scope of work includes the construction of a new 610 square foot salt storage building on the public works site. The Town has already procured the metal roof structure that is to be erected by the contractor.
