Provision of new cold fluid applied waterproofing membrane of the UCLA Cogeneration Plant chilled water concrete basin associated with the three cooling towers servicing the east most down comer known as "Down comer #3". The basin is located at the roof of the Facilities Management Building on the UCLA Campus. Details and descriptions of the scope of work is detailed in the permitted specifications and drawings. Work shall include all surface preparation needed to install specified waterproofing membrane including but not limited to concrete spall and crack repair, complete removal of existing membrane and waterproofing detailing around cooling tower structural elements. Work shall include Contractor scheduling of all required inspections and testing from 3rd party agency procured by the University and material manufacturer. Additional work shall include abatement of any hazardous materials in the basin as shown in provided testing reports, removal and reinstall of grating for access, and provision of temporary barrier at concrete opening to prevent water spillage to work area. The University has determined that bidders who submit bids on this project must be prequalified.
