The City of Delray Beach, Florida ("City") is seeking bids from qualified firms for the construction, fabrication, installation, and removal of signs for the Wayfinding Signage Project, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Invitation to Bid Construction. Question Deadline 10/27/2023 at 5:00 PM ET Any questions regarding the specifications and Solicitation process must be submitted in writing through the Question feature on web site Requests for clarification and additional information must be received prior to the deadline for Submission of Questions Questions and Answers: The City provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through Periscope S2G by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The City will respond to all questions via Periscope S2G. The Scope of Work requires the furnishing of all services and other deliverables necessary for the successful completion of the proposed project. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials required under this scope. The Scope of Work includes construction of two mausoleum buildings and one niche columbarium structure and restoration (sod, concrete, irrigation) of areas disturbed or damaged during construction activities; per the construction documents. The contractor shall use all possible care to protect all existing materials, surfaces, and furnishings from damage during all phases of construction, per the construction documents Licensing Requirements: The Vendor must possess Florida State General Contractor's license or current certificate of competency issued by Palm Beach County Examining Board having jurisdiction over licensing of Contractors in the type of work involved in this contract. Refer to Qualification of Bidders for additional information. Bid Guaranty: Each submittal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty, or other acceptable alternative, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount (Refer to Bid Guaranty, Performance and Payment Guaranties, and Qualifications of Surety Requirements). Bid Allowance Amounts: This solicitation includes a pass-thru allowance. It is not necessary to add your allowance amounts into your bid prices. Periscope S2G will automatically add the allowance amounts indicated to your bid total and will be reflected on the final bid tabulation. Undefined General Allowance ($50,000), and Indemnification Allowance ($10.00). The City of Delray Beach is exempt from Federal and State Taxes for tangible personal property tax. The City of Delray Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any irregularities and/or technicalities, and to award the contract on such coverage and terms it deems will best serve the interests of the City.
