Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) MRI Replacement and Expansion Project for 2 MRI Units. Add a new MRI Unit (# 2) to SMH, alongside the existing MRI Unit (# 1). Construction will be conducted in phases to ensure the ongoing operation of the existing MRI Unit (# 1). TIMELINE: Request for Proposals for prime (Architectural) consultant services for the project has closed and a preferred proponent has been chosen. The successful Proponent will act in the capacity of a Managing Consultant (Architect) for the Project, including engaging the services of all Sub-Consultants as required to provide complete consulting services for the Project, except that the Authority will engage a professional quantity surveyor, ETS-LINDGREN, and if required geotechnical and environmental consultants and Certified Professional, including working in collaborate with the successful Vendors' Technical PM and FH IMIT. Services to be provided by the Managing Consultant and Sub-Consultants will include: architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, code, acoustic, building envelope, door hardware as required. *The Project's construction budget will be determined when the Proponent has completed the Feasibility Study and Schematic Design to inform a CLASS C Budget.
