This project is located on Goose Pond in Grafton County, New Hampshire, and is being performed for the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (Owner). The intent of the project is to rehabilitate the existing dam to meet current dam safety regulations and include: 1. Flattening the downstream slope; 2. Updating and improving the seepage collection system along the downstream toe of the dam; 3. Installing relief wells along the toe of the dam; 4. Installing an underdrain system below the new spillway apron and a sheetpile wall; 5. Installing a retaining wall; 6. Installing a wider concrete bridge to accommodate vehicular traffic; 7. Lining the existing spillway with concrete; 8. Repairing existing concrete; and 9. Constructing other modifications to improve operating conditions. A Summary of All Bids Received Will Be Provided to Bidders Upon Request. Bids May Be Submitted via Mail or Leaving in Bid Box Adjacent to the Front Desk in the Lobby at the Above Described Address. Bid and Contract Security Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or a Bid Bond in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Bid Amount. the Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price Payable to Treasurerstate of New Hampshire. No Bidder May Withdraw a Bid Within 90 Days After the Actual Date of Opening Thereof. Project Funding the Project is Being Funded by Dedicated American Rescue Plan (Arpa) Funds (Federal) Already Appropriated by the State of New Hampshire and Nhdes. State Inspection Work Performed on This Project Shall Be Subject to Inspection by Representatives of Nhdes. Representatives of Nhdes Shall Be Given Right of Access to All Portions of the Proposed Work, Including but Not Limited to, Actual Work Site, Storage Yards, Offsite Manufacturing and Fabricating Location and Job Records. Owner's Right to Reject Bids Nhdes Reserves the Right to Waive Irregularities and to Reject Any or All Bids. The Project shall be substantially completed no later than May 1, 2025.
