As of November 21, 2023, Owner rejected all bids and will rebid this again within the next few weeks. Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the Pedestrian Bridge Replacement will be received by The Community College District of Jefferson County Each bid shall include a five percent (5%) bid security in the form of a bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved Surety Company. The Pedestrian Bridge Replacement consists of removal of the existing pedestrian bridge over Viking Drive, installation of a new pre-manufactured pedestrian bridge, and construction of new ADA compliant ramps and stairs for access to the bridge. The Owner reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder and to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality on all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. All contractors must provide a sworn affidavit affirming participation in a federal work authorization program and stating that the contractor does not knowingly employ any person who is not authorized to work in the U.S. The contractor must comply with current Prevailing Wage laws, and other statutory regulations as referred to in the specifications. This project is tax exempt.
