The Cheboygan County Road Commission will accept sealed bids for supplies pertaining to Road Signs. All Materials shall meet current MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction, .2020 & 2011 Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. The signs requested shall be "High Intensity" 9" single side non-extruded in green back ground. The Road Name lettering is to be 6" high in case sensitive letters, and all other lettering shall be 3" high in case sensitive letters in High Intensity White. The sign length shall be according to the attached "Sign Layout" drawing. All signs shall have the names applied (see attached list of road names). All sign panels shall be Type III (0.080") Aluminum unless noted otherwise. All sheeting shall be of ASTM Type IV High Intensity Reflectivity. Bidders shall specify the manufacturer of the sheeting material. Successful bidder shall provide certification of materials. Sign Posts shall be 1-1/2" 0.D., 12 gauge, galvanized, 10' Telspar post. All prices shall be F.O.B. CCRC Garage, 5302 S. Straits Hwy, Indian River, MI 49749. Cheboygan County Road Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, in whole or in part; to waive irregularities or informalities; and to award bids, in whole or in part, as deemed to be in the best interest of the Cheboygan County Road Commission.
