No definite date for the rebid.** PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Left-Turn Lane Elongation Improvements at Jeffrey / Roosevelt, Culver / Barranca, and Warner / Culver intersections, CIP 312203. The work to be performed shall include, but not be limited to: Cold milling, roadway excavation and paving; removal and replacement of asphalt pavement, concrete curb, gutter, median landscape, median hardscape; utility protection; utility relocation, cooperation and coordination; pavement delineation and signing, and other items not mentioned here, but are required by the Special Provisions. The Engineer's construction cost estimate for the project is above $390,000 (rounded to the nearest ten thousand). All questions relative to this project prior to opening bids must be submitted via PlanetBids no later than five (5) business days prior to the bid opening date as this would not allow time to respond to all plan holders CONTRACTORS STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Prime Contractor must possess a valid Class A license. At the time of submitting the bid, the Bidder shall be licensed as a contractor in accordance with the provisions of California Business and Professions Code Chapter 9, Division 3. All traffic signal (and/or street lighting) work under this Contract shall be considered specialty in nature. Any Contractor and/or subcontractor proposing to perform this specialty work must possess a valid Class C-10 license prior to award of contract. Persons performing the work of an electrician shall be certified in accordance with California Labor Code Section 3099. All Irvine Ranch Water District (IRWD) water facilities work under this contract shall be considered specialty in nature. Any contractor and/or subcontractor proposing to perform this specialty work must possess a valid C-34 license. Proof of Certification shall be provided to the City prior to commencement of work.
