Bathroom mechanical exhaust fan installation, High Street Veterans, Phase 2 General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% of the final contract price including accepted alternates The Project consists of but not limited to: Bathroom Mechanical Exhaust Fan Installation at the High Street Veterans development. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and State Wage Rates will apply to this project. The higher of the two wage rates shall be applicable. In each unit of each building indicated: (a) Construct a shallow soffit in each bathroom, as detailed, including metal framing, and cellular PVC panels; (b) Install a ceiling exhaust fan, with rigid ductwork through the soffit to an exterior wall cap; (c) Replace the existing bathroom light switch with a timer fan delay switch. (d) Install new wiring between the existing bathroom light, new timer switch, and new fan; (e) Replace existing single pole circuit breaker serving the bathroom lighting circuit with an arc-fault circuit-interrupting single pole circuit breaker; (f) Construct a shallow chase where shown as detailed, including metal framing, gypsum wallboard, metal corner bead, taping, jointing, priming (1 coat) and finish painting (2 coats), to install the relocated/replacement loadcenter. 2. In addition, in type 2A, 2B, 3B and type 3C units: (a) Replace/relocate loadcenters with new; extend feeder and branch circuits to new location; gut loadcenter interior, and provide custom surface extension, or blank plate as shown. 3. All cutting, coring of the exterior masonry walls, surface patching, and touch-up painting as required. 4. All Work either shown on the drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done.
