Williamstown Fire Department is requesting qualifications for Filed Sub-Bid and General Contractor Prequalification for the construction of a new $16.5M fire station on Main Street in Williamstown, MA. The Williamstown Fire Station Project consists of construction of a new 23,500 SF Fire Station on Main Street in Williamstown. The Fire Department will be located on a site that has been preloaded and raised out of the 500 year flood plain. The building will be a two-story building constructed of wood frame, masonry exterior on concrete footings and foundations. The General Contractor will mobilize in March 2023. The new Williamstown Fire Station is expected to open in June 2025. Questions regarding the RFQ should be directed to Owners Project Manger, Skanska USA, preferably by e-mail, to Program Manager Calder Kaatz; calder.kaatz@skanska.com. Firms responding to the RFQ are responsible for the costs associated with the development and submission of a response.
