2023-2024 Snow Removal Contract The project will consist of the following: 1. Salting of approximately 26 miles of Township owned and maintained roads located in various sections of the Township. 2. Clearing and plowing of approximately 26 miles of Township owned and maintained roads located in various sections of the Township. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10) percent of the total bid price, payable to Upper Providence Township. Notice is hereby given to the requirements contained in this Bid Package particularly to the insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for the submittal of a one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bonds. Listed equipment will be inspected by the Township to verify compliance with the bid documents prior to awarding the contract. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any formalities in the best interest of the Township. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of receiving the bids by the Township except as provided by law. A bidder may withdraw his bid at any time prior to the opening of the bids upon delivery of written notification of such withdrawal to the Township.
