This project consists of removal and replacement of failing concrete pavement panels and adjacent curb & gutter sections on SW 17th Street from SW Clay Street to SW Tyler Street. The failing concrete pavement panels and curb & gutter sections are located in the eastbound lane at both sites. One lane of traffic in each direction on 17th St. must be maintained at all times during construction. Exact project limits will be marked by the Construction Inspector prior to the beginning of construction This project consists of removal and replacement of failing concrete pavement panels and adjacent curb & gutter sections on SW 17th St. There are two locations for this project - Site 1 is located west of Clay St. and Site 2 is located east of Tyler St. All quantities included in the bid items are estimated. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the project quantities based on actual conditions on-site, with the expressed understanding that no adjustment in unit prices will be made. The schedule for this project is critical. The Work will commence as soon as practical with the issuance of a Start Work Order. Substantial Completion of the Work will be within 14 days from the date the Start Work Order is issued, and completed and ready for Final Completion and payment within 7 days from the date when Substantial Completion is achieved. It is anticipated that construction at both sites will occur simultaneously in order to meet this schedule. Question Deadline 10/04/2023 at 10:30 PM CT
