The work, Skunk Creek Bridge Replacement Project, Michigan Dept. of Natural Resources - Forestry Division, includes soil erosion and sediment control, temporary water control of Skunk Creek, removal of an existing failed bridge, including abutments, and temporary bridge, excavation for installation of a new abutments, wing walls and lagging system and installation of pre-engineered timber bridge meeting design requirements for HS-93 Modified Loading, backfill as depicted in the design documents, reconstruction of Skunk Creek Road, guardrail installation and site restoration. Contractor to submit bridge design to engineer for approval. COVID 19 Precautions: 1. Depending on the project location, individuals may be required to wear masks to attend meetings and for a firm to be eligible to submit bids / quotations / proposals. Bring and be prepared to wear a mask if required upon arrival. Requirements may change at any time and any updated guidance must be followed Please include your SIGMA ticket number and any supporting documentation (i.e., screenshots) to Anne Watros (WatrosA@michigan.gov) and Don Klein (KleinD4@michigan.gov). You may be asked by our contract specialists to email your bid response. Emailed submissions will require DCD approval and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Approved emailed submissions MUST be received prior to deadline to be considered responsive and responsible. ACCEPTING QUESTIONS UNTIL: October 18, 2023 at 5:00 PM EST Bid Responses should not be emailed to the Project Director.
