Reference number: 1763583 Deadline for receiving complaints: 2023-10-11 OMH de Montréal is inviting tenders for the Rehabilitation of Envelope and Balconies at Habitations Morgan-Lafontaine, located at 2335 and 2360, rue Joliette, in the borough of Merci-Hochelaga Maisonneuve in Montréal. The project consists of carrying out all work in accordance with the contractual documents. Without limitation, the scope of work includes: ARCHITECTURE: - Replacement of steel railings and external stairs; - Replacement of fiberglass balcony decks; - Partial repointing and partial replacement of masonry; - Replacement of masonry lintels; - Complete cleaning of the masonry; - Repair of the plaster cladding of the side walls; - Complete replacement of lightweight concrete/asbestos siding; - Replacement of all building entrance doors; - Replacement of all patio doors with an Energy Star qualified product; - Replacement of all windows with an Energy Star qualified product; - Repaint low fences, mechanical louvers and exterior handrails leading to entrances; - Repair of entrance canopies; - Installation of fixed ladders for access to roofs; - Replacement of outdoor lighting fixtures. - Punctual repair of holes and cracks in foundation walls (2360 Joliette); - The addition of masonry anchors to the rear walls (2360 Joliette); - The addition of curb to the rear window of the basement (2360 Joliette). STRUCTURE: - Rehabilitation of exterior concrete entrance landings; - Repair of the structure of balconies and external stairs; - Permanent stabilization of the rear masonry (2360 Joliette); The work will be carried out in two buildings located at 2335 and 2360 Rue Joliette in Montreal. The buildings consist respectively of three (3) floors, nine (9) units and two (2) floors of six (6) units. The frame of the buildings is made of wooden planks and their exterior cladding is made of bricks. Hot water and heating are powered by gas. During the work, the units will be occupied. The Work shall be completed within a maximum of 400 working days of the date confirmed by the commencement of the Work in the Letter of Commitment.
