The bidder hereby proposes to furnish all labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment and disposal costs to repair and rehabilitate the Target Building and Latrine at the Beach Range area of Fort Ord Dunes State Park Seaside, California, (Monterey County). License: Class B Contractor Engineer's Estimate: $75,000 Questions and Answers: Any discrepancies, omissions, ambiguities, or conflicts in or among the contract documents or doubts as to meeting shall be brought to the State's attention by emailing your questions to cassie.salopek@parks.ca.gov NO LATER THAN 2:00 p.m., seven (7) calendar days prior to bid opening date. Answers will be provided by Addendum on this website, and it is the responsibility of the bidders to download any addendum as needed. Participation in Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Program (DVBE): The minimum DVBE participation goal is 6%. Failure to fulfill the DVBE participation requirement will render your bid non-responsive. DVBE Incentive: For evaluation purposes only, an incentive will be given to bidders who exceed the 6% DVBE participation requirements. Refer to the DVBE forms beginning with the with DPR 479IP. Small Business and Small Business Subcontractor Participation: A five (5%) Small Business Preference will be granted to properly certified small businesses (a completed STD 811 form must be submitted with the bid proposal). Public Works Contractor Registration Program SB 854: No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5 [limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code Section 1771.1(a)]. 2) No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded may be awarded a contract for public works on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. 3) This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. Bid submission time will be as of the electronic time stamp associated with when the electronic email submission was received. Submissions with attached PDF documents in excess of (ten)10 Megabytes in size risk being rejected and can be deemed unresponsive. Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will provide an individual electronic email response confirming receipt of each submission received. If a confirmation receipt is not received within 30-minutes of submission, please contact Cassie Salopek at cassie.salopek@parks.ca.gov to confirm your bid was received. Confirmation receipt is not a representation by DPR that the submitted bid is responsive and complete. Bidders shall ensure that the electronic submission contains the attachment, the documents are fully responsive and lack any deficiency, and is directed to the appropriate email address (Monterey.PWBIDS@parks.ca.gov) without error. Failure to do so risks the bid being deemed unresponsive. It is recommended that Bidders submit bids at least an hour in advance of the bid submission deadline to allow for confirmation of bid submission.
