the Burris Park Foundation ("Foundation") will receive sealed bids from contractors licensed in accordance with the provisions of the Public Contract Code for the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and services for the performance of the following work: NEW FABRIC SHADE STRUCTURE AT THE BURRIS PARK AMPHITHEATER. Questions shall be submitted in writing via email to Christopher Kelly at Christopher.Kelly@co.kings.ca.us. The question submittal date has been moved to October 05, 2023 by 4 p.m. The work to be performed consists, in general, of New Tensioned Fabric Shade Structure at the existing amphitheater, including design, engineering, construction documents, and all materials and installation of the shade structure. Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond approved by the Foundation or a certified or cashier's check for at least 10 percent of the amount bid and made payable to the Burris Park Foundation, State of California. Said Bidder's Bond or certified or cashier's check shall be declared forfeited if the successful bidder refuses or neglects to enter into contract after being so requested by the Foundation. Said Bond shall be obtained from an admitted surety company satisfactory to the Foundation. Performance and Maintenance Bond(s) - The successful bidder shall file with the Foundation, at the time of execution of the Contract, a Performance Bond acceptable to the Foundation in the full amount of the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance of the Contract for the construction of the Work, and to cover all guarantees against defective workmanship or materials, or both, during the warranty period following the date of the final acceptance of the Work by the Foundation. b. Payment Bond - The successful bidder shall file with the Foundation, at the time of execution of the Contract, a Payment Bond acceptable to the Foundation in the full amount of the Contract Price, as security for the payment of all persons supplying labor and materials for the construction of the Work.
