The work generally consists of but is not limited to the following: grading of 2 (two) sites for metal building placement (by others) at the WWTP and the City Corporation Yard, placing 3" AB, installing footings at the City Corporation Yard, coordination with the metal building manufacturer, and such other items of work as are required to complete the project. The Contractor shall include in their bid and provide all labor, tools and materials for a completed project in conformance with the intent of the drawings and specified herein. All questions concerning this project shall be provided in writing and must be received by the City, in the manner described below, on or before 4:00 PM, September 28, 2023. Written questions may be sent via email as follows: Email: Carl Moore at engineering@colfax-ca.com Prospective Bidders shall be licensed Contractors in the State of California and shall be skilled and regularly engaged in the general class or type of work called for under the Contract. Each Bidder shall have a Class A or Class C-12 California Contractor's license. The City of Colfax desires wherever possible, to hire qualified local residents to work on City projects. Local residents is defined as a person who resides in Placer County. The City encourages an active affirmative action program on the part of its contractors, consultants, and developers. Contractor attests that they will complete the work within 80 calendar days from the construction start date that will be stablished through a Notice to Proceed issued by the City of Colfax.
