Scope of work to include: Abatement and Demolition of the existing Conference Center spaces (3rd floor of 3939Thirteenth St., Riverside) and partial demo of 4th floor kitchen, and new improvements to provide a broadcast studio with advanced technology, as well as providing an E Gaming arena. Work includes steel framing, with limited rough carpentry, high end interiors/ finishes and electrical improvements and low voltage work including integrated audio visual systems and equipment, security, access control, data, and fire alarm (deferred approval) modifications. Minor roof repairs, minor concrete patch back, minor plumbing work. The work is divided into 3 multi prime bid packages: BP #1 – General Construction (including minor plumbing scope) (B License) BP #2 – HVAC and Controls (C20 License) BP #3 – Electrical and Low Voltage (C10 License with subs holding appropriate licenses) All bids are to be submitted to Erickson-Hall Construction Co., hand delivery, at 11810 Pierce St. #150, Riverside CA 92505. This project requires Prevailing Wage, but it is NOT a DSA project. This project does not require Prequalification, however certain specification sections (low voltage in particular) do require that bidders on the specified systems hold the qualifications and/or certifications listed therein. RCOE (Superintendent) requires all contractors submitting bids to furnish performance and payment bonds issued by a corporate security. BIDDERS ARE TO REFER TO THE OWNER’S “STANDARD – CONTRACTS AND PURCHASING BID” MANUAL FOR THE CONTRACT TERMS AND GENERAL CONDITIONS. THIS ENTIRE DOCUMENT INCLUDES THE FORMAL INVITAITON TO BID, AND THE BID FORM, AND ENTIRE DOCUMENTS MUST BE SIGNED AND SUBMITTED AS THE BID. IT BECOMES THE “CONTRACT” WHEN SIGNED BY THE SUPERINTENDENT.
