Requests for Qualifications for the Chandler Cove Development. Minority and Female Business Subcontractor/Supplier participation is encouraged. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing under the contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act Decatur Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted which are not deemed to be in the best interest of the District. The Decatur Park District (District) is accepting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from individuals and entities who are interested in participation in the development of the District-owned property known as Chandler Park, in accordance with the terms, conditions and requirements set forth in this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The District shall evaluate SOQs and select an individual or entity in two steps. As step one, the District has prepared this RFQ and will evaluate each submittal in accordance with the evaluation criteria listed in Section 5 Selection Process and Evaluation Criteria. Shortlisted Proposers will then be invited to participate in the second step, the Request for Proposals (RFP), that will require Proposers to present their detailed plans and concepts for the Chandler Park development. All questions regarding this RFQ shall be submitted by email to Clay Gerhard at cgerhard@decparks.com and marked Chandler Park Development Questions in the subject line. To be considered, all questions much be received by 5:00pm on September 22, 2023. All questions will be addressed publicly in an addendum sent to all requestors of the RFQ.
