A brief summary of the work involved in this Contract is for the supply and replacement of watermain valves and chambers, including the recommissioning of watermains affected by the watermain shutdowns, and consists of the following: Location 1 - Nash Road South at King Street East (HB66V039, HB66V040) - Removing existing concrete chamber and all valve chamber components. - Installation new concrete chamber. - Installation of 1200mm butterfly valve. - Installation of 500mm butterfly valve. - Installation of 2 - 100mm air valve. - Installation of 2 - 25mm pitometers. - Installation of associated valve chamber piping and components. - Construction of 10 linear metres of 500mm diameter watermain and associated trench restoration. - Construction of 12 linear metres of 1200mm diameter watermain and associated trench restoration. - 220 square metres of road resurfacing. Location 2 - Nash Road South at Queenston Road (HB69V029) - Removing existing concrete chamber and all valve chamber components. - Installation new concrete chamber. - Installation of 1200mm butterfly valve. - Installation of 500mm butterfly valve. - Installation of 150mm diameter blow-off valve - Installation of 100mm air valve - Installation of 2 - 25mm pitometers - Installation of associated valve chamber piping and components - Construction of 11 linear metres of 300mm diameter watermain and associated trench restoration. - Construction of 8 linear metres of 500mm diameter watermain and associated trench restoration. - Construction of 70 linear metres of 1200mm diameter watermain and associated trench restoration. - 700 square metres of road resurfacing. Location 3 - Nash Road South at Queenston Road (HB68V033) - Removing existing concrete chamber and all valve chamber components. - Installation new concrete chamber. - Installation of 1200mm diameter butterfly valve. - Installation of 2 - 150mm diameter blow-off valves. - Installation of 100mm air valve. - Installation of 2 - 25mm pitometers. - Installation of associated valve chamber piping and components. Location 4 - Queenston Road at Nash Road South HB65V037) - Removing existing concrete chamber and all valve chamber components. - Installation new concrete chamber. - Installation of 900mm diameter butterfly valve. - Installation of 2 - 150mm diameter blow-off valve. - Installation of 100mm air valve. - Installation of 2 - 25mm pitometers. - Installation of associated valve chamber piping and components. - 30 square metres of road resurfacing. - Construction of 30 linear metres of 900mm diameter watermain and associated trench restoration. Isolation of the existing 1200mm watermain south of King Street East, opposite to Nash Road South (optional blind flange arrangement or line stop installation).
