Reference Number 0000330439 This project addresses the removal of an underground fuel storage tank (UST) located at the Wemlinger Water Purification Facility (WPF). A previous study identified relocation of a generator from Wemlinger WPF to the Sand Creek Water Reclamation Facility for improved emergency power supply. The UST at Wemlinger WPF is now obsolete and is a liability for the City. The selected contractor will remove the UST and will assist Aurora in submitting the appropriate paperwork to the State OPS (Oil and Public Safety) office to document the closure. Each Bid shall be accompanied by an appropriate guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check made payable to the City of Aurora in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid.
