Bids will be received for this Project, which includes the following: The Work to be performed under the Contract for Project No. 59-23-02, if any is awarded on the basis of the Bids, consists of removing and reconstructing the ramp pavements as shown in the Plans. The Work includes, but is not limited to, excavating existing pavement, constructing full depth pavement, chemically stabilizing the subgrade, performing drainage repairs and replacements, installing concrete median curbing, concrete curbs, upgrading of guardrail, pavement markings and other traffic control devices, installation of SNAPs, and temporary traffic control with detours. All Work is to be performed as per the Plans, Drawings, Specifications, Special Provisions, Technical Specifications, and other Contract Documents for this Project. Prevailing Wage Rates and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements apply to this Project. The Small Business Enterprise (DBE/EDGE/SBE) Goal applicable to this Project is 10%. Failure to certify a commitment to meet the SBE Goal or failure to satisfactorily demonstrate Good Faith Efforts used to attain SBE participation for this project shall be grounds for the Commission to consider the Bid nonresponsive and may cause the Bid to be rejected. Pollution Liability Insurance is required under GC Art. 12.1.3 for this Project. A Contract will be awarded, if any award be made, to the Bidder determined to have submitted the lowest responsive and responsible Bid for the performance of the Work. The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive minor irregularities or technical deficiencies. Question Deadline 10/04/2023
