As of January 9, 2024, a partner has been selected and this project is in design. Further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. A detailed scope has not yet been identified. To rehabilitate White Stadium, centering its renovation on the "West Grandstand" and improvements to the "Grove Area." The revitalized White Stadium will serve as an improved facility for BPS students, community events, and gatherings, and as the home pitch and venue for Boston's new National Women's Soccer League team. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Contact Information: PFD Bid Counter Bid.info@boston.gov 617-635-4809 Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 7C, 44-57, the City of Bostons Public Facilities Department (PFD) is requesting qualification statements for services including programming, scheduling, traffic management, athletic specialist, and cost estimating for the White Stadium project with an estimated construction cost of $48M-$150M. The scope of services for the White Stadium Project includes but is not limited to: Design and construction administration services for the renovation or new construction of the E. Grandstand, track and field. It is not determined if the E Grandstand will be completely demolished and the City is actively reviewing cost and schedule saving measures with the RFP respondent. As stated, this project will have multiple phases and the designer will be contracted up-through the schematic design phase with the option to continue design services through construction administration for Phase I and optional for future phases. Special attention should be given to the milestone of deliverables for SD, DD, and CD. The City must put this out to bid by June 2024 in order to meet the RFP respondents goals of a March 2026 opening game day. Project fees will follow the schedule as stated in the application form. Applicants must be a registered Architect in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The project will be performed under applicable M.G.L. c.149 44A-44J. Applicants must provide the names of key personnel and consultants that will be utilized on this project for the following disciplines: civil engineer, structural engineer, plumbing engineer, electrical engineer, code consultant, telecommunications and data engineer, sustainable design specialist, geotechnical engineer, HVAC engineer, lighting consultant, specifications writer, landscape architect, geo-environmental consultant, fire protection engineer, fire alarm engineer, cost estimator, elevator, schedule and sports consultant. Applicants, at a minimum, must have prior experience on projects in the following settings: Urban, Historically Significant, Chapter 149 & 149A, Community presentations and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Deadline for questions due by Friday, September 29, 2023
