The Project includes the following Work: Constructing and installing a 100 hp blower at Owners Wastewater Treatment Plant, 100 Ingram Street, Kingland, Texas, valves, airline piping, fans, electrical work, and related appurtenances; demolish and remove two existing 60.0 hp blowers from site. Replace the metal siding and roof on the existing blower building (Add Alternate). Question Deadline 10/12/2023 at 2:00 PM CT Work consists of constructing an additional 100 horsepower blower in the WWTP Blower Building, providing a throttling butterfly valve on the blower air intake, providing three fans for ventilation, adding air piping and fittings, upgrading the SCADA, providing required electrical work, and adding related appurtenances. There was an add alternate to provide a new roof and siding for the building; however, this work was removed from the contract via Addendum #1. There is an add alternate to provide an alternate brand of blower. Attendance by each prospective bidder or its representative at the pre-bid conference is NON-MANDATORY. The site is open for viewing by setting a meeting time with Tom Stewart of KMUD, contact (830) 637-0449. Also, the site will be open after this meeting for field visits.
