The Project includes the following Work: Installation of fence and electric gate. Principal items of work include but are not limited to: 879 Ft Fence, 6' High Black Vinyl Coated Chain Link 3 Ea Fence Gate, 6' High, 6' Wide, Black Vinyl Coated Chain Link 1 Ea Fence Gate, 6' High, 10' Wide, Double Swing, Black Vinyl Coated Chain Link 1 LSUM Electrical 1 Ea Fence Gate, 4' High, 32' Wide, Black Vinyl Coated Chain Link, Electric Powered Bids will be received for a single prime Contract: GCI and MCIC Fence Project, 2300512. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the Owner or any employee of the Bidder and any member of the Board of Education or the Superintendent of GISD. The Board of Education will not accept a Bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. Each bid must also be accompanied by a signed statement certifying that the Contractor is not an Iran Linked Business. Each bid must also be accompanied by a signed Safety Affidavit by the Contractor. The Board of Education will not accept a Bid that does not include this signed statement. Genesee Intermediate School District, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive any formality or technicality in any Proposal in the interest of the Owner. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: ROWE Professional Services Company 540 S. Saginaw St., Suite 200, Flint, MI 48502 Obtaining the Bidding Documents Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the Genesee Intermediate School District, 2413 West Maple Avenue, Flint, MI 48507, on Monday through Friday during regular business hours; and the office of the Engineer, 540 S. Saginaw Street, Ste 200, Flint, MI 48502 on Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Plans will not be available for purchase until the afternoon of Monday, September 18, 2023. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Plans and specifications will not be mailed/e-mailed until payment is received. The non-refundable fee shall be by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover accepted) or in check form and shall be drawn payable to ROWE Professional Services Company.
