Paving Bids Various Roads in Tattnal County Bids are requested for milling, leveling, resurfacing, and shoulder grading of approximately 17.91 miles/20 ft. to 24' wide of 3 county roads with a city street in Manassas. Bid request also includes resurfacing of approximately 8.13 miles/20 ft. wide of 3 county roads and 1038' of 1.5" leveling in various locations. The total mileage of all roads is 26.04. The roads include Baxter Durrence Rd., Harmony Church Rd., Loves Chapel Rd., Henry Street (Manassas), Anderson Church Rd., Joy Bluff Rd., and Airport Rd. The contractor will be given a 14 day notice to proceed. Resurface with 5/8"/69 lbs. per sq.yd. of Recycled ASPH Conc. Leveling, Incl Bitum. Material & H Lime on Baxter Durrence Rd., Harmony Church Rd., and Loves Chapel Rd and 1 1/2 "/165 lbs. per sq. yd. of Recycled ASPH Conc. Leveling, Incl Bitum. Material & H Lime at various locations on Anderson Church Rd. The areas on Anderson Church Rd. will be marked. Resurface all roads except Henry St. with 1 1/2 "/165 lbs. per sq.yd. of Recycled ASPH Conc. 12.5mm Super pave GP 2 only, Incl. Bitum Material & H Lime. Resurface Henry St. with 1 1/4 "/135 lbs. per sq.yd. of Recycled ASPH Conc. 12.5mm Super pave GP 2 only, Incl. Bitum Material & H Lime. Apply tack coat between existing surface, leveling and topping. Contractor is required to use a shuttle buggy for final resurfacing. No Deep Base Patching is required. Stripe with solid white line on edge and solid/skip double yellow line in the center with 24" stop bar at Baxter Durrence Rd/SR 121, Loves Chapel Rd/Harmony Church Rd., Harmony Church Rd/Loves Chapel Rd., Henry St./SR 292, Anderson Church Rd./SR292, Joy Bluff Rd./SR56, and Airport Rd./SR147. Rumble Strips are also to be placed at the end of each road, except Loves Chapel Rd. and Henry St. "High Build Paint" per GDOT specification "652 - Painting Traffic Stripe" is to be used for striping. Centerline is to be striped with temporary tape striping between leveling and final surfacing. A certification from the striping contractor verifying material and placement specifications will be required. The contractor is responsible for placing low shoulder and advanced warning signs. The contractor will be responsible for providing material pits for shoulder grading. All work is to be completed by July 31, 2024. Contractor must supply their E-Verify number with their bid.
