A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Water Treatment Plant and Well Field Improvements Major components of the Work include: A. Well Field Improvements: Seal Wells No. 1, 2, and 3 and demolish the well houses located at the WTP site. Seal Well No. 3 (River) and demolish the well house at the Well Field site. Demolish the Well No. 6 pump house and install a new submersible pump and pitless adapter on Well No. 6. Replace Well No. 5 vertical turbine pump and discharge piping. Replace electrical equipment for Well No. 5 & 6 inside the Well No. 5 pump house and make controls improvements. Construct new Well No. 6 buried discharge piping and route through Well No. 5 pump house. Rehabilitate the Well No. 5 pump house. B. Water Treatment Plant Improvements: Remove old water tower foundation/footings at the WTP site. Abandon septic tank at the WTP site according to MPCA regulations. Construct new and modify buried process piping and valves at the WTP site. Construct new site access drives, parking, equipment pads, and fencing at the WTP site. Construct new treatment addition to the WTP including: Cast in place concrete chlorine contact tanks (2), clearwell pump chamber, footings, stoops, and building slab. Pre-cast concrete walls and ceilings. Membrane roofing system. Packaged Gravity Treatment Units. Vertical Turbine High Service Pumps. Process piping and valves. Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Controls. Existing WTP rehabilitation including: HVAC improvements. Plumbing improvements. Electrical and controls improvements. Demolition of existing treatment equipment and chemical feed systems. Construction of new chemical rooms and chemical feed systems (within footprint of existing WTP). Construction of new mechanical room and laboratory/control room space (within footprint of existing WTP). Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A Contractor responding to these Bidding Documents must submit to the City/Owner a signed statement under oath by an owner or officer verifying compliance with each of the minimum criteria in Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. This Work shall be subject to minimum wages and labor standards in accordance with Federal and State requirements.
