This is the Phase 2 solicitation following an Invitation to Qualify. Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid. Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is undertaking remediation work at multiple sites along the Alaska Highway (Highway 97) in northern British Columbia. The Project is focused on bringing the Maintenance Camps into alignment with the general management goals related to federal contaminated sites as defined by the Federal Contaminated Sites Action Plan (FCSAP). The Scope of Work under this Contract includes the completion of offsite disposal of contaminated soil and Site Treatment Facility decommissioning at select sites. Optional work includes screening of soil at select sites. The primary contaminants of concern (COCs) in soil are petroleum hydrocarbons across all sites. No infrastructure at the camps will be available to the Contractor. The Contractor’s use of the sites shall be limited to the designated work areas for the Project. Location: Triple J Gravel Pit is a soil treatment facility (STF) located approximately 2 km south of Fireside at km 834. Liard STF is located at kilometer 763 at the Liard Maintenance Camp, Liard. KM 713 Gravel Pit is a STF located at kilometer 713, approximately 15 km north of Muncho Lake. Stringer STF is located near the Toad River Maintenance Camp at kilometer 639 of the Alaska Highway. Sikanni STF is at the Sikanni Maintenance Camp located at kilometer 254 of the Alaska Highway.
