The work consists of various road, flood control, and airport maintenance work to provide support, as needed, to Public Works Maintenance crews for various routine road, flood control, and airport maintenance repairs, such as, but not limited to, pavement repairs and replacement, crack seal, slurry seal, skin patching, asphalt concrete cold planing, pavement leveling, shoulder widening, hot mix asphalt paving, storm damage repair work, rock slope protection, slope stabilization, culvert repair work, and concrete structure repair work. Working Days: 1 year contract with option to extend two additional one-year extensions The County, in its sole discretion, may award one, two, three, or four $900,000 on-call contracts to the first, second, third, or fourth lowest responsible bidder(s), as applicable. Each bidder may be awarded only one on-call contract. Estimated Construction Cost: Maximum of $900,000 for a 1-year period with the option of two one-year extensions. The said Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any portion of any bid and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. The successful bidder must furnish a payment bond and a performance bond. The Board has ascertained the general prevailing rate of wages applicable to this work. The prevailing rate of per diem wages is on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, and is incorporated herein by reference thereto, the same as if set forth in full herein. For any classification not included in the list, the minimum wage will be the general prevailing rate for Contra Costa County
