This request includes the purchase and erection of a three-sided 50x80x22 metal building (pole barn) using steel beams. 50x40 of the building will also be constructed with a two sided 6' high exterior concrete retaining wall with a 6" thick 50x40 4,000 psi concrete floor. All concrete is to contain epoxy - coated rebar. The winning bidder will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and inspections needed to complete the project. Permit & inspection fees will be waived by the City. This contractor will be responsible for providing plans that have been engineered for footing, foundation, retaining wall, structure, and truss designs. The City of Portland hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of age, race, color, religion, national origin, sex, or disability in consideration for an award.
