BACKGROUND NARRATIVE: The Work consists of the demotion of the existing lift station (LS #6), construction of a replacement lift station, installation of a pre-assembled Pump Mate unit, installation of a genset, and other appurtenant work. Performance and Payments Bonds: Successful respondent shall deliver to City both a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond no later than the 10th day after the agreement has been executed both for the Project price. Penal sums for both bonds shall each be equal to the agreed upon Project price. Liquidated Damages: Liquidated damages shall apply in the amount of one-thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per calendar day for each day past the agreed upon delivery date that the Project completion may be late. Project Timeline: Respondent shall provide estimated project timeline for delivery of Project. The not-toexceed deadline for project delivery must be four hundred (400) days substantial completion, and four hundred and thirty (430) days final completion
