As of 10/24/2023, the only bid received exceeded budgeted funds; therefore, Town Council has elected to reject this bid. The Town plans to review the project scope and specifications to evaluate a path forward. Provide all materials, equipment, and labor to complete the proposed roadway work in accordance with the plans, specifications, conditions, and provisions as provided herein. The Town of Lexington is accepting bids for the Transportation project, Roadway Improvements to US 378 at Mineral Springs Road. Bidders must submit security in the form of a certified check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid; made payable to Town of Lexington. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Payment and Performance Bonds for the full amount of the Contract. Bids shall be executed on bid forms provided with the bidding documents in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Deadline for questions is October 5, 2023 at 5:00pm. All questions must be submitted in writing.
