Project Information. Location and Description. The Project is located at Central Park, 40000 Paseo Padre Parkway, Fremont, CA 94538, and is described as follows: The project scope includes but not limited to four standard pickleball courts included in the base bid and another four courts as a bid alternate; Demolition and removal of asphalt surfacing; demolition and removal of concrete curbs and gutters; Protection of existing asphalt pavement to use as base for new asphalt paving and Plexipave acrylic surfaced courts; Clearing and grubbing of existing landscape areas; Construction and installation of chain link fence, concrete curbs, flatwork, ramps, handrails, site furnishings (pickleball nets and posts, drinking fountain, benches, trash and recycling receptacles; Installation of one ADA van parking stall, including striping and pavement marking, ADA parking sign post; off-haul of debris and excess excavated soils. Time for Completion. The planned timeframe for commencement and completion of construction of the Project is: Forty (40) working days. 2.3 Estimated Project Cost. The estimated construction cost, or construction cost range, for the Project is $465,650. This estimate serves only as a guideline to bidders of the scope of the Work and the Project. No bidder, including the successful bidder, is entitled to make any claim against City based on inaccuracy of the estimated cost or range of cost of the Work or the Project Bidders must submit any inquiry under this Section by 5:00 p.m. at least Three (3) Working Days before the Bid Deadline. Questions received any later will not be addressed before the Bid Deadline
