Separate sealed bids for the following project: SFY 2023 Road Reconstruction/improvement Project Bass Road From South Green Street to End: The project consists of the complete removal, disposal and reconstruction of the existing roadway. Work shall include removal and reconstruction of storm pipe, five (5) storm inlets, 2300 SY of 6-inch thick DGA, 415 tons of HMA intermediate course, 345 tons of HMA sur face course, pavement markings, signs, site restoration, etc. A Buy America Compliance Plan is required to confirm that the material meets the Buy America requirements and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L. No. 117-58, which includes the Build America, Buy America Act (the Act). Pub. L. No. 117-58, 70901-52 as specified in 106.03. See Special Provisions Section 106. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Borough of Tuckerton in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the amount of the Bid, but no more than $20,000.00, must be submitted with the proposal as Bid Bond, pursuant to Local Public Contract Law (LPC) 40A:11-21. Bids may be submitted by mail or in person at any time prior to the time for receiving and opening the same. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The Borough of Tuckerton reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids.
