1.1 Brazoria County is requesting pricing for Road Striping and Pavement Markers as indicated on the bid table spreadsheet in accordance with Texas Local Government Code 262.022, (5-a) which states, Lowest and best means a bid or offer providing the best value considering associated direct and indirect costs, including transport, maintenance, reliability, life cycle, warranties, and customer service after a sale. Brazoria County may award based on best value to the County. 1.2 Brazoria County reserves the right to add or delete like items to contract as may be in the best interest of Brazoria County. Any such added items shall be provided to Brazoria County at the same discount bid on other similar products. 1.3 Brazoria County may make partial or complete awards to vendors whichever is in the best interest of the County. 1.4 Awarded vendors are to submit a daily work ticket/reports itemizing work performed for each road/location to the Road and Bridge representative to verify work completed. These tickets will require a signature from a Road & Bridge Representative. 1.5 All striping or pavement marking work will occur during Brazoria County Road & Bridge working days/hours unless prior approval is obtained, and a Road and Bridge representative is present. Brazoria County Road and Bridge operates Monday thru Thursday(generally).
