Work will consist of using a GIS feature class provided by the City of Fitchburg to complete in a workmanlike manner an update of the urban forest tree inventory of the public trees in the City of Fitchburg. The scope includes updating the tree inventory information for all public trees growing on publicly owned property in the City of Fitchburg excluding woodlots. The project deliverable is an updated geodatabase feature class compatible with ESRI ArcGIS software using NAD 1983(2011) WISCRS Dane (US feet) that captures the following updated attribute for each tree: Tree location in the form of a GPS data point (latitude / longitude) Street address of tree Street where tree is growing (for trees that are growing on a street different from the address, such as a corner lot). Tree species including scientific name, common name, genus, and cultivar If no tree is present, Planting Site will be used instead of tree species Tree size measured in Diameter at Breast Height (DBH) Tree Condition (Good, Fair, Poor, Remove Now) as defined by the Tree Condition Assessment in Appendix A. Tree Location - Street, Park, Right of Way, or Woodlot Calendar date tree inventory information was updated NOTICE TO BEGIN WORK - The Contractor will receive notice to begin work after October 22, 2023. COMPLETION DATE - All tree inventory data shall be completed and received by the City of Fitchburg by June 28, 2024.
