As of October 25, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work generally consists of the replacement of twelve (12) existing PBBs with new PBBs. The work site is located at Harrisburg International Airport, in Middletown, Pennsylvania. Contractor shall complete all work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents. The work generally consists of the replacement of twelve (12) existing Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs) with new PBBs. The construction scope of work includes, but is not limited to removing the existing PBB per gate and legally disposing off site, repair of the existing pedestal on select gates and the installation of a new PBB on the specified gate. Base Bid Scope of Work includes: Installation of Temporary Construction Items Removal of Existing Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) (and repair of pedestal on select gates) Installation of the proposed PBB and ancillary equipment Final adjustments (including commissioning and acceptance) Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to reject all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional Bids, in the Owner's sole discretion. The Contractor shall not be entitled to extra reimbursement due to escalation of cost. The Contractor shall not be entitled to any extra reimbursement or payment of any kind due to escalation of cost of labor, materials or equipment. All such costs, including any escalation, are presumed to be factored in the Contractor's bid. Any questions or interpretations of the plans, specifications or documents must be submitted, in writing, no later than close of business on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 5:00 PM EST. Questions must be submitted via PennBid. The Engineers opinion of probable costs for the base bid scenerio is between $12,000,000 and $14,000,000
