Question Deadline 10/09/2023 at 4:00 PM ET Bidders may submit questions about the meaning or intent of the Invitation to Bid/Agreement to the website link, in written format only and shall submit such on or before the deadline for questions listed in the Event Timeline Citrus County, Florida (County) invites interested parties to submit a Bid to provide roadway asphalt repairs to South Sea Otter Path (see Attachment B). The work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all equipment, labor, and material for milling/excavation, installing black base asphalt on a portion of South Sea Otter Path, and overlaying all of South Sea Otter Path with asphalt. The asphalt repair entails the removal/milling/excavation of 5.5 of existing asphalt and base along a portion of South Sea Otter Path and placing back 4 of Black Base (SP 12.5, traffic level C) (See attached Attachment B). Then, overlaying all of South Sea Otter Path with 1.5 of FC-9.5, Traffic Level C asphalt, with PG 76-22 Asphalt Binder per FDOT Section 334-2. The asphalt to be provided for the project shall be FDOT pre-approved and identified on the current FDOT Asphalt Mix Design Plant Assignment Sheet. Work includes, but is not limited to, exposing and cleaning edge of existing pavement, milling, placing 4 of black base asphalt, paving (1.5 asphalt overlay), sodding (contractor is responsible for providing positive drainage away from the roadway surface) and other items as specified in the Contract Documents. All work will be completed in accordance with current Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, FY 2023-2024 Edition, and its supplements. The County reserves the right to adjust the award as it deems necessary.
