The work to be done under this contract consists of the following: The project location will be Belmont Ave. eastbound lane. starting on the west side of the 22ndstreet intersection heading east to the 13th street intersection. The project is approximately 20x2530 a total of 50,600 square feet. The work to be done under this contract consists of the following: 1) Grind out existing asphalt to a depth of 2. The grind will be the full width of the eastbound lane. Grindings to be removed and hauled to the city's Public Works yard 1200 18th Street. Compact any exposed base material. The road must be swept after grinding to remove any remaining debris. 2) Replacement paving will be 2 inches of level 2, half inch aggregate dense ACP surface asphalt, PG 64-22 binder asphalt, installed and compacted. Compaction testing will be required. Question Deadline 09/28/2023 at 2:00 PM PT Project to be completed by October 31st, 2023. A bond, postal money order, certified or cashier s check from the bidder in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the bid as security. A performance bond and material and labor payment bond each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract. The Owner may reject any Bid not in compliance with prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the Owner that it is in the public interest to do so.
