The work generally consists of roadway reconstruction and resurfacing, striping, and utility improvements along 3rd Avenue from 10th Street to 13th Street in the City of Laurel. The project includes approximately 1,200 tons of asphalt and 3,900 linear feet of curb and gutter. Bidder must be qualified under Mississippi Law and show current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors establishing his classification as to the value and type of construction on which he is authorized to bid. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $2M - $2.4M The work generally consists of roadway reconstruction and resurfacing, striping, and utility improvements along 3 rd Avenue from 10 th Street to 13 th Street in the City of Laurel. The project includes approximately 1,200 tons of asphalt and 3,900 linear feet of curb and gutter. The above general outline of features of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials required by the specifications and the drawings referred to therein. Contract time shall be 210 consecutive calendar daysfrom the effective date shown in the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed in the amount of $750 per day for each consecutive calendar day beyond the specified contract time.
