QUESTIONS DUE Friday, Sept. 22, 2023 The work will consist of replacing the barrel roof PVC Membrane Roofing System that currently covers the 20,265-square-foot roof of the Delashmutt Arena at the Yamhill County Fairgrounds, according to County specifications. Specifically, the successor bidder will: A. Remove the existing PVC membrane roofing system; B. Prepare the roof to receive the new roofing system; C. Install Commercial Grade Single Ply PVC Membrane Roof System with a 20-year warranty per manufacturer's specifications, such as those related to the termination bar, vents, fasteners, calking, etc.; D. Install the system to meet wind and uplift conditions for building location and height; E. Install the slipsheet per manufacturer's requirements; F. Properly flash all roof top protrusions per manufacture's specifications; G. Install new perimeter terminations; H. Wrap roof system to exterior perimeter of roofline(s); I. Install 24-gauge commercial grade gutters and downspouts; J. Seal new membrane roof at gutter transition; and K. Complete all work in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including all necessary permits and approvals; The work will consist of replacing the barrel roof PVC Membrane Roofing System that currently covers the 20,265-square-foot roof of the Delashmutt Arena at the Yamhill County Fairgrounds, according to County scope of work. Each Bidder shall submit the subcontractor's disclosure form in substantially the form provided under ORS 279C.370(2) and as required by OAR 137-049-0360 within two (2) working hours after the bid closing (prior to 5:00 p.m.) in a separate envelope marked "2023 Delashmutt Arena Roof Project Subcontractors Disclosure Form." FAILURE TO SUBMIT THIS FORM BY THE DISCLOSURE DEADLINE WILL RESULT IN A NONRESPONSIVE BID. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked "2023 Delashmutt Arena Roof Project" and shall show the name and address of the bidder on the outside. No bid will be received or considered by the County unless the bid contains a statement by the bidder that the provisions of ORS 279C.530 shall be complied with. Each bidder must identify whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120. If a bid is received from a non-resident bidder, the provisions outlined in ORS 279A.120 will apply to said bid after the bid is opened and before the contract is awarded. No bid shall be received or considered unless the bidder is registered with the Construction Contractors Board. The Board of Commissioners, Yamhill County, reserves the right to waive formalities and to reject any or all bids that do not comply with prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements, including the requirement to demonstrate the bidder's responsibility under ORS 279C.375(3)(b), or if Yamhill County finds that it is in the public interest to do so.
