Project consists of a single story heated storage building east of the Turtle Mountain High School in Belcourt, North Dakota. Construction elements consist of a load bearing slab on grade with insulated edges for frost protection. The rear wall and end walls will bear on a concrete retaining wall. Exterior wood framed, insulated walls with metal siding panels and interior metal liner panel. The building will have four storage spaces. Each space will have an 10'x 8' overhead door. Roof structure is wood trusses, 5/8 sheetrock, blown insulation, plywood sheathing, and asphalt shingles. Mechanical systems consist of electric unit heaters and general ventilation. Electrical systems include power wiring, lighting, fire alarm, and new service. As provided in the Contract Documents, the successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds. Each bid shall be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a bidder's surety bond in a sum equal to five percent of the full amount of the bid, including all alternates, executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in this State, conditioned that if the principal's bid is accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten days after notice of award, will execute the Contract Documents in accordance with the terms of the principal's bid. Failure to include an appropriate bidder's bond may result in rejection of the bid. Cash, cashiers or personal checks are not acceptable. See Instructions to Bidders 00 1000, Art. 7. North dakota law. All bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject bids, to hold all bids for a period of 30 days after the bid-opening date, and to reject all bids and rebid the Project. Est.
